As a ministry of Christ Covenant Church, we seek to grow a greater future together with you!
Shepherd's Heart is a ministry of Christ Covenant Church that began in 2004 starting as a Mother's Day Out
program and then blossoming to fill the need of parents and our community. From its inception, CCC has viewed
Shepherd's Heart as a ministry to others and not a business venture.

Our church is based on the Biblical view of living in covenant with God and with others. From membership to
sacraments to everyday living, covenant is at the forefront of what we do. We desire to strengthen and build family
solidarity into our community.

What does that mean? Throughout Scripture God has fulfilled His plans through covenant. The word for “covenant”
in Hebrew (Old Testament of the Bible)is the word beriyt [pronounced ber-eeth] which means a Divine ordinance
with signs or pledges. The word for “covenant” in Greek (New Testament of the Bible) is the word diatheke
[pronounced dee-ath-ay’-kay’] which means an arrangement, a compact, a testament...i.e. God’s covenant with
Noah, Abram, people of Israel, and eventually the new covenant, available to all in Christ Jesus. In each of these
situations, it was said to pass this on to future generations. Our battle cry is
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 (NIV, 1984) which
says:

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These
commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about
them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie
them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your
    houses and on your gates.

This is why we have this ministry. We do not look at Shepherd's Heart just as child care or  as private school
education. We not only believe that we can do a better job of teaching academically, but we have the ability to help
parents and families "grow a greater future"  by teaching foundational Biblical truths along with an academic model
that exceeds any public venue. We have a dream that one day, Shepherd's Heart will not only be a school that
extends through 12th grade, but that we might provide higher levels of education as well.

We at Shepherd's Heart and Christ Covenant Church, desire for God to bless you and your family and generations
to come in your family. Our hope is that you will join us in this venture and together bring a reformational change to
your family, to our community, our nation, and our world. Check out our church at www.CCCAlvin.com for more
